Xbox One Controller features lower input latency at approximately ~7.5 ms (~250 Hz BT / ~1000 Hz wired polling rate) compared to Xbox Series X/S Controller at ~6.8 ms (~250 Hz BT / ~1000 Hz wired polling rate).
Generation-to-generation the stick technology is essentially the same potentiometer design — the Series controller improves buttons, grip, and wireless reliability more than it changes drift behavior. Expect comparable long-term drift characteristics.
