Nintendo Switch Joy-Con (pair) features lower input latency at approximately ~7 ms (~250 Hz BT polling rate) compared to Nintendo Switch Pro Controller at ~5 ms (~250 Hz BT / ~1000 Hz wired polling rate).
Joy-Con sticks are the most drift-prone of the pair — tiny ALPS modules with a documented high failure rate. The Pro Controller uses larger, sturdier sticks. Both are potentiometer-based; the Pro Controller is the more durable of the two in our reference model.
