Testing Bass Frequency: what to listen for

Bass response is about how low the drivers stay loud and clean, not how loud the bass sounds — muddy low end masks footsteps and reverb detail. Explosions and vehicle engines occupy the low end; a driver that distorts there also smears mid-range clarity where gunfire and footsteps live. How to test: Sweep through the tones and listen for a point where output thins out or buzzes; keep your listening volume moderate so the driver, not the room, is being tested.

Why is Bluetooth audio latency bad for gaming?
